Apporter aide et soutien aux O.S.C du Cameroun en matière d'exploitation de leurs Systèmes d'Informations.
Promouvoir les actions concrètes, les alliances, les solidarités et les coopérations des Organisations de la Société Civile au Cameroun.
Construire avec les Organisations de la Société Civile, des Territoires durables au Cameroun.
Apporter aide et soutien aux O.S.C du Cameroun en matière d'exploitation de leurs Systèmes d'Informations.

Missions et objectifs

The Foundation for Environment and Development (FEDEV) is a non-governmental and non-political organization with the Head office in Bamenda and the main office in Yaoundé. FEDEV is a Civil Society Organization that promotes sustainable development, environmental protection, sound natural resource management, good governance, and respect for human rights via the instrumentality of laws and policies. FEDEV works at the local, national and international levels. Since 2003, FEDEV has focused on diverse areas including Environmental Law, water, Forest Law enforcement and Governance, environmental democracy, Natural resources, pollution, waste management, sustainable development, human rights, environmental justice, and the rule of law, climate change, capacity building, Environmental Litigation research, and publication.

We carry out the following activities:

The Access Initiative (TAI);
Capacity building and Training;
General sensitization and awareness raising;
Lobby and Advocacy;
Public Interest Litigation and Legal Aid;
Environmental Law Consultancy;
Research, monitoring and evaluation of development/environmental activities;
Networking;
Environmental Impact Access;
Livestock Policy;
Monitor and report cases of environmental abuse and seek remedial measures for both victims and the environment;
Management of Biodiversity resources and livelihood activities including eco-tourism.
